LIZ 

NOAR

Liz is a Chartered Physiotherapist, member of HCPC and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) with more than 25 years of experience. Having graduated from Queen Margaret College (Edinburgh) in 1993, she studied an MSc in Manipulative Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2001. Prior to studying physiotherapy, Liz gained a BSc in Sociology with Social Administration from Loughborough University.

Liz spent the first part of her career working in rotational posts in hospitals in the North of England and was then employed in the USA in hospitals in Illinois and Indiana, managing a private clinic in the suburbs of Chicago, working as a specialist physiotherapist in a regional Head Neck and TMJ Center and working as a Senior Physiotherapist in the world famous Rehab Centre of Chicago. On moving to Australia, Liz worked in the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney whilst attending the University of Sydney, studying for an MSc in Manipulative Physiotherapy.

Liz is dedicated to staying up to date in new advances and physiotherapy research, attending many CPD courses and reading extensively. She is particularly expert in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal pain in all regions of the body. She offers a wide range of treatments including manual therapy and massage, acupuncture, exercise therapy.

​

Liz started North Berwick Physiotherapy in 2003 and is based in North Berwick, East Lothian. Patients may self- refer to physiotherapy but often GP’s and Consultants refer patients to the clinic. Most private insurance companies are covered in the clinic though a percentage of patients self-pay.
